ORW GP Points

Here are the points for the ORW Grand Prix. Each race was scored with the highest possible points being 61. We then added the points for each race together. Then we added the position points to the total of the two races to get the grand total.

Each heat was based on:
20 Starting Points
2 points for each Check Point
5 points for each completed lap
5 points for finishing all required laps

Total per heat: 61
20 Starting Points
16 Check Point / Progress Points
20 Completed Lap Points
5 Finishing Points


Total = 61

We had to recalculate the points for this race based on the system we have been using all year. The way the points were originally calculated were weighted too heavy and made the points for this race 3 times as much as any other race. The new points for this race did not change any finishing positions, only total number of points awarded.

No. The points go with the class. You can race a different car though
